Lenk is a charming town situated in the Simmental valley, Switzerland. It is a well-liked place for outdoor enthusiasts, offering skiing and snowboarding in the winter and hiking and mountain biking in the summer.

One of the best things about Lenk is its stunning natural environment. The village is surrounded by the grand peaks of the Bernese Alps, which present breathtaking views and endless opportunities for outdoor activities.

At our coliving space in Lenk, we offer a variety of comfortable and fully equipped accommodation options:

Private Ensuite Rooms: Enjoy your own private room with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony.
Studios & Apartments: For more independence, we also offer studios and apartments located either within the coliving space or in neighboring houses. These include private fully equipped kitchens.

This was my first coliving experience and I could not have asked for a nicer setup, location or group of people. Hubs Swiss Alps, Lenk, certainly lives up to its name with a stunning view of the Alps which looks like its at arms reach. The bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were newly refurbished and I had a lovely balcony. My room was right beside the bright, modern, comfortable kitchen where we often hung out for social events and for those who were working. There is also a lovely TV room which folk sometimes used for their meetings or for movie night or watching sports events. I stayed for 4 weeks and will look forward to returning next year. If you want to experience life in the Swiss Alps, there is no better location. Also great value for money.

Lenk and its region are fabulous, if you like nature, mountains, lakes, waterfalls, animals and peaceful places, then I really recommend. The coliving is in very good condition, clean, pleasant, everyone has their own small studio or apartment, and a coworking space, kitchen and many common lounges to spend good times together. If the opportunity arises for me, I will return with great pleasure.

A life changing experience! I’m hands down in love with the town of Lenk. We had a balance of time to ourselves, opportunities to engage with the nomadic community, and trips to see sights near us. There were many trails and waterfalls to explore. The train was a quick 5 minute walk away. Several restaurants and a grocery store also within a 5 minute walk. I have already recommended this experience to several others.

What does the price include?

It includes your accommodation (with all utilities and fees covered), access to a fully equipped kitchen, coworking and common areas, and support from our local hosts to help you settle in and feel at home throughout your stay.

As a complimentary bonus, you’ll also have access to a dedicated community manager who curates weekly activities, supports your stay, and helps you connect with other guests.

How can I get to Hubs?

You can fly into one of the following airports: Bern, Zurich, Geneva, or Sion. You can travel from these airports to Lenk via Switzerland’s efficient rail network or by car. Shuttle services can also be arranged upon request. The coliving space is within a 3 to 5-minute walk from the local train and bus stations. Check more information at sbb.ch.

Do I need a car when staying at Hubs?

Everything you need is within walking distance, and public transportation is easily accessible, so there’s no need for a car.

Are the rooms equipped for remote work?

Yes, all rooms include a desk suitable for remote work or can be equipped with one upon request.

Where can I get work done?

You can work from your room, shared coworking areas, or private spaces equipped for video calls.

Is there any additional local tax or fee on top of the rent?

A tourism tax is charged per person and added on top of the rental fee (CHF 150 for the first month, CHF 50 for the second month, and free from the third month onward). This tax includes the Simmental Card, which gives you free public transportation within the valley and nearby areas.

Are private rooms and studios available for two people?

Private rooms and studios are no longer available for double occupancy. If you are staying with another person, please book an apartment instead.

Which common areas will I have access to?

Guests have access to coworking spaces, living areas, kitchens, ftinerss room, and outdoor spaces.

Can couples or friends stay together in the same unit?

Yes, this is possible only in apartments. If you book a regular 1-bedroom or premium 1-bedroom apartment for two people, a CHF 150 surcharge applies for the second person.

Is there a gym at Hubs?

Yes, there’s an onsite fitness room available for participants.

What kind of activities do you usually facilitate?

Events include communal dinners, outdoor excursions, workshops, and cultural activities based on guests’ interests. The activities are tailored to individuals in the community.

Do you provide shared hygiene products?

Yes, we provide basic shared hygiene products such as soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. However, we recommend bringing your personal toiletries for specific needs or preferences.

Are there any bicycles on the property?

In Lenk, electric bicycles are available for guests to use, making it easy to explore the surroundings.
